Head of Department’s Note

The Department is interested in teaching and training students in basic and clinical courses in order to acquire clinical information and skills necessary for dental practice. The department includes a group of faculty members who have obtained degrees from international universities and who put a lot of effort and time to communicate their scientific experiences to students and this contributes to raising the level of students academically. Root canal treatment is one of the specialties of dentistry, which means studying the shape and functions of diseases of the pulp and surrounding tissues. The study includes basic and clinical sciences including pulp biology, causes, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diseases and injuries in the pulp and tissues surrounding the tooth. The department is characterized by a spirit of teamwork, which contributes to the progress and prosperity of the department. I would like to extend my thanks and appreciation to all the faculty members, professors, lecturers, demonstrators, administrators, technicians and assistants for their contribution to the development of the department.
